trans voice resources

transvoicelessons - binge this entire channel. start with this and this. by far the most comprehensive resource on voice feminization, although I did find she missed some stuff that helped me

12 days of gender voice by nicole gress - short and sweet but super helpful (her two videos with stanford voice researcher lily clifford are also interesting)

claire michelle's tips - gave me some good insights

a basic roadmap:

LEARN ABOUT THE SOURCE-FILTER MODEL!!!
vocal thinness
resonance
retract false vocal folds
pitch

most importantly:

you have to be aware that it's gonna take time and work and remain persistent anyways. also you are going to sound like shit when practicing for months probably but it WILL get better, you just have to push through it. your voice is like an instrument and you're not gonna sound good trying to play piano with little prior experience. lastly, I encourage you to explore your voice and do more than just replicating exercises. this can help give you more insight into how your voice works. every voice is different! <3
